LiveRingsidePrivacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026 · Updated October 19, 2026
LiveRingside is an analytics service for TikTok LIVE creators and the agencies that manage them, available at liveringside.com. It is operated by LiveRingside LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("LiveRingside", "we", "us"), which is the controller of the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information. Your email address, a name you choose, and a password hash. If you sign in with TikTok, we receive your TikTok open id, display name, avatar and username from TikTok, and nothing else: we never see your TikTok password.
- Public live-stream activity. For the creators an account asks us to follow, we record what is publicly visible to anyone watching their TikTok LIVE: viewer counts, joins, taps (likes), comments, gifts, shares, follows, co-host and battle events, and the public usernames and display names of the people who did them. We also record public restriction and moderation signals TikTok shows about the room.
- Earnings and ranking data from third-party public leaderboards for creators you follow.
- Technical data needed to run the service: server logs with IP addresses and request times, kept for a short period for security and debugging.
We do not collect payment card numbers, government identifiers, precise location, or the contents of private messages.
How we use it
- To show creators and their managers analytics about their own lives: who watched, who gifted, how battles and co-hosts went, where traffic came from, and what to do next.
- To warn a creator about a co-host or battle partner whose past links were followed by problems for that creator's room.
- To write short written briefs and suggestions. Some of these are produced with an AI model (Anthropic's Claude); the data sent is aggregate statistics and short samples of public comments, never your account credentials.
- To keep the service secure and working.
Who can see what
Each account sees only the creators it tracks. Agency owners see their agency; managers see the creators who report to them. Another account's creator stays private to that account even when the two creators battled each other. Viewers' public activity is visible to the creator whose live it happened in and to that creator's managers.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with providers who run the service on our behalf: Cloudflare (network), Amazon Web Services (encrypted backups and alert queues), Anthropic (AI briefs), Euler Stream (go-live alerts) and a public leaderboard data provider (earnings and rankings). Each receives only what its role needs. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
Retention
Live-stream recordings are kept while the account that follows the creator remains active, so that trends over time can be shown. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. When an account is deleted, its account information is removed and the creators only it followed stop being recorded.
Your choices
- A creator can ask us to stop recording their lives and to delete what we hold about them by writing to the address below.
- A viewer can ask us to delete their activity records by writing to the address below with their TikTok username.
- You can delete your LiveRingside account from the Account menu or by writing to us.
- If you signed in with TikTok, you can revoke LiveRingside's access at any time in your TikTok settings under Security & permissions → Apps and services.
Children
LiveRingside is for adults. TikTok LIVE itself requires creators to be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will show a notice in the app and update the date above.
